Birthday Weekend

This weekend we went to Kaitie's 4th birthday party and today was Shaun's birthday. It has been a wonderful weekend of celebrating with cake!

More Bikes

Now that Jack knows how to ride it is all he wants to do. Charlie loves the seat and when we get off the bike he informs us he is "not done" . Shaun was on bike duty this morning, it looks like they all had a good time!

Bike Riding

Jack has finally figured out how to ride a bike! We picked up a seat for Charlie to ride with me. The boys had a great time and we ended up riding around in a circle for an hour.

St. Vital Mall

Our power went out this morning and did not come on until the early afternoon so the kids and I went to hang out at Auntie Lori's house because it was raining so we decided to pack up all the kids head off to the mall to play inside. Charlie loves the Slide and Jack likes to ride the ladybug and pretend to be a super hero named "Super Steam" (Super Steam uses his steam power to run really fast and save the day). Jack was so tired on the way home from all that rescuing that he fell asleep and tipped right off his booster seat, it is a good reminder why I prefer him in a carseat still. I am glad to have a carseat that goes to 65lbs!

Zoo

Auntie Lori and Uncle Ken had the brilliant idea of heading to the zoo this morning. We had a great time. Charlie was really into looking at the animals, Olivia couldn't have cared less about what she was seeing, she just enjoyed being outside and hanging out with her cousins. The weather has been so bad here recently that it was wonderful to get out and enjoy some sunshine!

As soon as Charlie and Jack spotted the park they were off and running. Charlie is having a world class nap now after all the activity this morning.
